Nota d'usoTutti questi verbi vengono usati con il significato di “iniziare”, ma hanno sfumature diverse. To commence è un termine formale, raramente usato nel parlato: Building of the bypass commenced in 2006 and was completed a year later, la costruzione della circonvallazione è cominciata nel 2006 e si è conclusa un anno dopo.
